I am an experienced Bible teacher, scholar, ministry trainer, and the founder of Advance Word Minstries, which provides:

  • professional development for preachers and Bible teachers

  • in-person teaching and training by invitation

  • accessible teaching on Christian faith for the curious and unsure

  • live online events and courses to help Christians grow

About

After studying law at Oxford University and training as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young I served on the ministry staff of St Helen's Bishopsgate in London.

Since completing further studies in Bible, theology, and ministry at the Cornhill Training Course, Oak Hill College (BA Hons), and Cambridge University (MPhil, PhD) I have held appointments at

I am an active member of my local church, where I lead a Bible study group.

Experience

My main research interests are Hebrew and Greek linguistics and biblical theology, with a particular focus on sin and righteousness.

I am currently an Honorary Research Associate at Morling College in the Australian University of Theology.​

Alongside my academic research I am currently writing a book on Christian faith and ADHD from a biblical and pastoral perspective.
